Programme Specific Outcomes  MCA

MCA  programme has been designed to prepare graduates for attaining the following program specific outcomes:

1.     An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, computer science and management in practice.

2.     An ability to identify, critically analyze, formulate and develop computer applications for the betterment of society.

3.     An ability to select modern computing tools and techniques and use them with dexterity so as to devise a optimum solution to a problem.

4.     An ability to design a computing system to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as safety, security and applicability.

5.     An ability to devise and conduct experiments, interpret data and provide well informed conclusions.

6.     An ability to understand the impact of system solutions in a contemporary, global, and societal context for sustainable development.

7.     An ability to function professionally with ethical responsibility as an individual as well as in multidisciplinary teams with positive attitude.

8.     Develop ability to use research, experiment, contemporary issues to solve industrial problems

9.     An ability to appreciate the importance of goal setting and to recognize the need for life-long learning.

1:     Build a solid foundation in the domain of computer science for developing analytical, technical & professional skills.

2:     An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, computer science and management in practice.

3:     An ability to select modern computing tools and techniques and use them with dexterity so as to devise a optimum solution to a problem.

4:     Use algorithms, data structures, software design, concepts of programming languages and computer organization & architecture to solve the real life problems.

5:     An ability to understand the impact of system solutions in a contemporary, global, and societal context for sustainable development.

6:     An ability to appreciate the importance of goal setting and to recognize the need for life-long learning.

 

 

Programme Specific Outcomes  M Phil and Ph. D Computer Sciences

1:     In-depth understanding the current state of the art in the individual research area, and the ability to appropriately employ methods and existing research results in the development of new knowledge, theories and presentation of research in the individual research area.

2:     Ability to argue the merits, limitations, and possibilities of new developments in the chosen research domain within the discipline of Computer Science.

3:     Capability to apply current abstract research and methods within the chosen research domain to specific problems in creative and innovative ways.

4:     Ability to select appropriate research methods and techniques suitable for the candidate’s research field.

5:     Ability to perform the planning and preparation as well as to lead and manage research projects in the area of Computer Science, in academic as well as in government or industrial settings.

6:     Ability to support and participate in academic, government, and industrial research at an internationally competitive level.
