Eligibility For admission to M.Sc Biotechnology Programme.

Bachelors' degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, pharmacy, Engineering / Technology, 4-years B. Sc. (Physician Assistant Course); MBBS or B. D. S. with at least 55% marks. l Candidates appearing in the Final Year Examination of the qualifying degree, and those whose result of the same is awaited, can also apply provisionally.

Eligibility for admission to Ph. D Programme.

Masters degree in the concerned subject or in a subject cognate to the one in which the candidate desires to pursue M. Phil. with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) or its equivalent grade 'B' in UGC 7 point scale, recognized by UGC.

Eligibility for admission to Ph. D Programme.

A candidate must fulfill any of the following eligibility criteria:

55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade “B” in the UGC 7 -point Scale) in M. Phil. Course Work (50% for SC / ST, OBC - non creamy layer and differently abled candidates).

Masters degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Masters degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC / ST, OBC candidates) in aggregate or its equivalent grade “B” in the UGC 7 - point scale.
